After the wine bar, we serve a 3-course menu where the kitchen has put together an evening focused on flavour and seasonality.

Along the way, the Barfoeds Jazz Band provides the right atmosphere with jazz, swing, jump, rhythm and blues.

We offer a limited number of double rooms and 4-person holiday apartments where dogs are welcome for an additional fee. However, dogs are not allowed in the hotel’s indoor common areas or outdoor dining areas. Please inform us when booking if you wish to bring your dog.

Autumn in Skagen has its own unique atmosphere. The light is bright, the colours are warm, and the town is still alive - just a little quieter. The pedestrianised street is buzzing with local shops, galleries and cafés, and the museums offer art, culture and stories about life in Skagen.
For fresh air and peace and quiet, Skagen Klitplantage is just behind the hotel. Here you can walk through heather-clad hills, along paths in the forest floor and out towards the wide sandy beaches.

After the day's adventures, peace and quiet awaits - and a place to land. In the hotel's courtyard you can enjoy the warmth of the heated outdoor pool, take a dip in the hot tub or let your shoulders relax in the sauna.
The terrace is covered with blankets, candles and heat lamps and the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy - even after dark.
The next morning, a large, well-catered breakfast buffet awaits - and perhaps another dip in the pool before you start a new day in Skagen.

Saturday evening is the setting for the Wine & Jazz event itself - a sensory experience where wine, food and music come together.
We start at 5pm with a wine bar in our bar and lounge or on the covered terrace - weather permitting. Here you can taste a selection of wines and enjoy small homemade snacks in cosy surroundings. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, and the glasses are poured with care.
As dinnertime approaches, we invite you to join us for a 3-course menu focusing on seasonal ingredients and flavours that match the character of the wine. The kitchen puts together a menu with both finesse and richness - and lots of flavour.
As dessert approaches, Barfoot's Jump Band takes over and lifts the evening with jazz, swing and rhythms that set the mood. With both classics and surprises, they create a lively end to an evening full of enjoyment and intimacy.

Let the good times roll!
Saturday night is all about music when Barfoeds Jump Band takes the stage with an energetic mix of jazz, swing, rhythm and blues, Danish evergreens and surprising versions of well-known pop and rock hits.
Enjoy classics from Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles - spiced up with stylish Jump tracks like Just a Gigolo, Jump, Jive and Wail and Jambalaya.
The band is known for its tight rhythm section, strong vocals and horns with both edge and charm - and not least for playing with the audience, not just for them. With spontaneity, humour and a well-played style, they create an atmosphere that makes the whole hotel swing.
