There's something special about feeling your body wake up to the icy cold sea water. When the cold bites and you feel the warmth spreading afterwards, there's a special sense of calm. A winter bathing stay in Skagen is an experience you'll remember for a long time - not just in your body, but also in your mood.

Accommodation
You have two or three nights in our cosy double rooms depending on which stay you choose.
Breakfast
Every morning, a large breakfast buffet awaits with everything your heart (and stomach) desires.
Dinner
If you are on a 4-day stay, you can look forward to a 2-course chef's choice menu on Thursday evening based on seasonal ingredients.

Auffgus ritual
Join us for a relaxing Aufguss ritual – a guided sauna experience with essential oils, steam and soothing heat on Saturday between 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. with former Danish champion Christian Damgaard. Each session lasts approximately 12-15 minutes.
Get-to-gether
After the auffgus ritual we'll have a get-together on the covered terrace and enjoy a hot drink.
Communal dining
Festive communal dining at long tables and live music with Mads Vejen on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. at the hotel.
Courtyard
Free access to our courtyard with heated pool, hot tub and large sauna.

08:30 Morning song at Skagen Winter Swimming Festival and then joint warm-up.
12:00 - 13:00 Guided walk with local guide in Skagen. This year there are 4 different tours to choose from. You sign up on one of the lists at building 3, which is set up at First Camp Grenen Strand on Friday (no later than Saturday at 10 am). ATTENTION! Limited number of places, so it is "first come, first served".
13.00 Traditional Danish beef and potato stew and Glühwein in the garden at Skagens Museum.
19.00 Communal dinner at Color Hotel Skagen - this is an add-on or included in the price when you book a winter bathing stay at Color Hotel Skagen.
Sunday 25 January
08.30 - 11.30 Saunas open.
08.30 - 10.30 Divers on the beach.

All outdoor activities in the programme are weather dependent and will be carried out as best as possible according to conditions.
Swimming is always at your own risk. If you are a beginner, we recommend swimming during the times when divers are present. They have great insight into water and current conditions and will be happy to guide you.
During the event, professional photographers will be present from time to time.
