We believe that the best holiday stay is the one where you have the freedom to be - both inside and outside. And the same goes for your holiday apartment. Here at Color Hotel Skagen you have nature as your neighbour, plenty of space around you and the opportunity to find the pace that suits you.

As you enter the apartment, you are greeted by a bright and inviting space with views of our Lynghave - heather garden - or the expansive heathland. Inside, the apartment's simple lines and light colours reference Skagen's nature and architecture - creating an atmosphere of calm and balance.

Of course, comfort is paramount. The living room is furnished with Danish design classics, and the sofa invites you to put your feet up after the day's adventures. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need - including a dishwasher - giving you more time to just be. But most importantly, you'll immediately feel at home. We've done our best to personally create the right setting in your holiday apartment - and we look forward to giving you the key to an excellent stay with us.

Our recommendation:
Once you've settled into your apartment, we recommend that you make yourself comfortable - perhaps an evening dip in the heated outdoor pool before sinking into the sofa or bed and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Your apartment is your sanctuary - use it however you want.

3 lovely days in Skagen, made even better with 2 nights at Color Hotel Skagen. Good rooms / beds. Fantastic breakfast buffet and lovely dinner both evenings. The wine list and large wine cabinet rounds off the experience. Also used the hot tub and heated pool, as well as the sauna. Unfortunately can only give 5 stars. There was not a single thing to complain about during our stay at Color Hotel Skagen. Everything from the room, breakfast, pool, restaurant, etc. was just as it should be. Excellent hotel in a great location for a holiday in Skagen. It is about 1 km to Skagen downtown. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are large and cosy. The breakfast buffet is delicious and you eat well in the restaurant. There is a small fitness centre at the hotel so you can easily keep fit during your holiday. There is also a pool and spa. We have had some great days at the hotel and we had our dog with us. It was nice and clean and a really good breakfast with everything you could wish for. The pool area is great with a nice big sauna and spa bath. We will 100% definitely come again, next time we will bring the whole family.Tripadvisor.

In June, July and August, check-in is from 3:00 PM.
In all other months, check-in is from 2:00 PM.
Check-out must take place no later than 11:00 AM.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included in the stay, but our generous breakfast buffet can be added when booking online, by phone, or upon arrival.
Price per person: DKK 150 per day. Children under 12: DKK 75 per day.

When hunger strikes, you're also welcome in the hotel’s restaurant, café and bar – whether you're in the mood for a delicious meal, a sunny cocktail, or just a quiet cup of coffee in cosy surroundings.

Is there parking facilities?

As our guest, you can park for free in the hotel’s parking area. Electric cars can be charged for a fee – please contact the reception for details.

Are dogs allowed?

We offer a limited number of double rooms and 4-person holiday apartments where dogs are welcome for an additional fee. However, dogs are not allowed in the hotel’s indoor common areas or outdoor dining areas. Please inform us when booking if you wish to bring your dog.
